Gto 4l80e swap

In some years (I think all years... '64-72) the pinion yoke on a Chevy rear-end takes a smaller diameter U-joint cup than do the Pontiac, Olds, and Buick yokes (BOP). The BOP U-joint is pn 2-3011 and all 4 cups are the same (larger) diameter. To to do a Chevy rear into a GTO swap using the GTO driveshaft a 'crossover' u-joint, pn 3-3130, is used.

Been contemplating this for my truck (1972 C10 with a 2-piece driveshaft). I'm aware of the driveshaft probably needing to be shortened (looks like I've got a 6" tailshaft on the TH350, but I haven't measured it to make sure) and plan to use a MegaShift for the electronics, but have a couple unanswered questions.

This is a custom built, TIG welded crossmember for installation of a 4L80E transmission in your late model GTO. We performed this swap from a 4L60E on a 2004 GTO. The crossmember comes painted and includes the polyurethane mount. Please note other modifications and wiring is necessary for this conversion.
